Support Natural Healing with Carbon Dioxide Therapy

Dioxyfin™ is a patented Pharmaceutical-grade carbon dioxide therapy designed to support the body's natural healing process. By promoting increased blood flow and oxygen delivery to tissues, encouraging the formation of new blood vessels, and helping reduce inflammation, Dioxyfin creates an optimal environment for the body's natural healing process.

Used for both acute injuries and chronic conditions, Dioxyfin can be externally applied in the clinic, barn, paddock, or pasture and has been used to support recovery from:

  • Soft tissue injuries
  • Open wounds and abscesses
  • Burns
  • Laminitis
  • Cellulitis
  • Scratches
  • Canker
  • Lymphangitis
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Osteomyelitis
  • Post-surgical recovery
  • Training recovery
  • Tendon and ligament injuries (desmopathy)
  • Pressure sores (decubitus ulcers)

How Dioxyfin Works

Dioxyfin™ delivers a therapeutic mist of pharmaceutical-grade carbon dioxide and water in a sealed treatment environment. Rather than treating the underlying disease itself, Dioxyfin helps create the conditions needed for the body to heal more effectively.

Carbon dioxide therapy works by:

  • Encouraging the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis)
  • Increasing blood flow and oxygen delivery to tissues
  • Helping reduce inflammation

Carbon dioxide is also bacteriostatic, sterile, and functions as an antioxidant.

Treatments are simple to administer and can be given by an owner, trainer, or staff member following the advice of a veterinarian.

Treatment Protocol

The standard treatment protocol is 20 minutes once daily for three consecutive days, followed by 20-minute treatments every other day for six additional treatments.

Depending on the condition, additional treatments may be beneficial:

  • Slow-healing wounds: Continue treatments as long as improvement is occurring.
  • Deep tissue injuries: For lesions several inches beneath the surface, warm water soaking before treatment, maximizing the seal, and extending treatment time to 40 minutes may improve gas penetration.
  • Chronic inflammatory conditions (such as osteoarthritis): After the initial treatment series, maintenance treatments every 1–2 weeks may be beneficial, eventually tapering to monthly or twice-monthly treatments as needed.
  • Traumatic injuries (tears, fractures, ruptures): Continue treatments 2–3 times per week for up to eight weeks to support tissue repair.
